7thJune sees the Local Architecture Awards stop at Queenstown. You can always count on the Southern Awards for a great occasion. Visit the New Zealand Institute of Architect’s website for further details.
This year Queenstown also has the honour of hosting the National Awards on the 9thNovember. The Awards will be preceded by the NZIA AON Gold Medal Lecture by my former mentor and 2018 Gold Medal recipient Jeremy Salmond on the 8thJune. The Gold Medal is the highest individual honour an architect can receive in New Zealand. A talk well worth attending.
